Customer Service Call Centre Agent Job in Johannesburg North, Gauteng

$5(USD) / R70 an hour Shift work -+80 hours Fortnightly

Our biggest client has an exciting new opportunity for us here! We are currently looking for 6 to 8 dynamic individuals to join our team for this new adventure. Agents do NOT have to make cold calls.

We are a South African based work from home call centre that provides our clients with the best suited candidates for their rapidly growing business and its increasing needs. In turn offering successful candidates future opportunities to grow within their strengths to higher positions and projects.

We are hiring for our biggest client that provides outstanding contact centre services for the moving and storage industry. Full training will be provided, along with an established call centre support structure and environment to work remotely within the comfort of your home.

Please note at this time, only candidates who reside in South Africa will be considered.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

· Answer inbound calls, make outbound calls to customers who have indicated an interest in our services. Warm leads are provided.

Handle customer inquiries

Enter information into system quickly and accurately.

Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.

Complete call logs

Produce call reports.

Availability:

This is a work-from-home position where a quiet work area is required.

The role requires shift work and flexibility is an asset.

Hours of operation are from 2 pm to 6 am Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 3 am Saturday and 3 pm – 4 am Sunday. We offer the possibility to move to a preferred shift depending on seniority and performance.

We work in the (US) Eastern Standard Time Zone, See below for reference.

8 am to 12 am Monday – Friday, 9 am – 9 pm Saturday and 9 am – 10 pm Sunday.

Education and Experience

Matric or equivalent considered an asset.

Proficient in relevant computer applications

English first Language Essential!

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Call centre experience is essential.

Knowledge of call centre calling equipment and technology.

Good data entry and typing skills with a minimum speed of 30wpm.

Knowledge of administration and clerical processes

Technical Requirements

· Personal computer with Windows 10 or higher, or MAC with OSX or higher

Hardwired internet connection (must be Ethernet, not Wifi)

USB Headset with microphone and mute button (3.5mm, Bluetooth etc. will not work)

Minimum internet speed of 20Mbps download and 20Mbps upload.

Only candidates who meet all technical requirements can be considered.

This will be checked during the Interview process.
