We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Your role as a logistics and distribution manager is to organise the storage and distribution of goods. You'll ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You will be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

It’s a vitally important job that requires planning and leadership experience, as well as a thorough understanding of warehousing and logistics. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.


Ensure housekeeping in warehouse is world class standard

Ensure accurate inventory management, tracking and accounting

Select freight carriers and negotiate contracts and rates

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

Manage the efficient flow of inbound and outbound products and materials

Organize warehouse, plot routes, and process loading plans

Co-ordination of Interbranch transfers and stock movements between 3 premises

Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs

Resolve any arising problems or complaints

Oversee warehouse operations and personnel

Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce

Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements

Skills and Proficiencies

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Record of successful distribution and logistics management

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Proficient in standard logistics software

Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Organizational and communication skills

Aptitude for counting and inventory management

Managerial and business expertise

Excellent leadership skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
